Biography

JSunday, born on May 5, 1978, grew up surrounded by music thanks to the influence of his parents, who were passionate about sound and especially Canarian orchestras. From an early age, he developed a strong connection with music, recording radio sessions and building his own collection, which awakened his vocation for communication and broadcasting. Talking about JSunday means talking about radio. He is a veteran of the medium, with his first major project, Canarian Elektric Sound, a program that remained on air for more than 12 years on Ondas Colectivas Canarias, consolidating his sonic identity and connection with the audience. With more than 20 years of experience as a DJ and 3 years as a producer, he currently leads two key projects in his career: Teknopolis, alongside his friend, mentor, and fellow DJ Seagull, and Level Room Music, a platform where he develops his creativity through an online radio show on Top Music Radio. His style is characterized by fresh and dark Detroit Techno, while also combining different electronic subgenres to keep the dance floor in constant motion. His versatility, linear technique, and ability to energize the crowd define his artistic essence. He was part of one of Tenerife’s most prominent parties, Level Connexion, and has shared the booth with renowned DJs such as Seagull, Fran Lagarto, Samuel Delgado, Drummer, Kevin Ramos, and Jairo Delli, among others. His highlighted performances include the Level Connexion Techno-House New Year’s Eve Party at La Bodega de Eliseo Aeroclub. He has held residencies at Discoteca Bali (currently known as La Facultad) and Disco Pub Establo, and has also performed at venues such as Café Picu, Aguere Cultural Center, and Crowsnest Club. In addition, he was part of the team at Level Records Shop, a local reference in music culture. His projects and achievements include being a corporate partner of Play Room Studio Tfe, participating in contests such as ONEILLS ONFIRE and VAMPIS DJ Contest 2019, and having sessions broadcasted on various nationally and internationally recognized radio stations. His style is rooted in Detroit Techno with dark and hypnotic elements, enriched by diverse electronic blends and dynamic, dancefloor-oriented sets. Work, consistency, prudence, and professionalism are the pillars that define JSunday both inside and outside the booth.
